Our Vision for Quality Mental Health
Years ago we were faced with change. We found ourselves working for a system we could no longer support or feel good about. As much as we wanted to resist, and remain in a place that was safe and familiar, we knew we had to make a change. That was the start of Rochester Counseling Solutions.
Our vision was to create a place where people from all backgrounds, struggling with whatever issues, would feel safe and confident in receiving quality mental health services. Our hope was, through providing these services, our clients would be helped to make whatever changes were necessary, internal or external, to improve their quality of life.
To date, we have over 80 years combined experience in providing quality mental health therapy. We take great pride in the fact that we have a diverse clientele and enjoy working with people of all ages, backgrounds, sexual orientations, races, and socioeconomic statuses. It is our hope that all our clients will feel welcomed and will get the help they need to reduce their emotional suffering and live happier lives.

Individual therapy is intended for those who are challenged by a particular issue or are looking to gain a greater understanding of themselves and how they relate to their environment.
Couples therapy focuses on the dynamics between the two individuals. This may be related to a particular event in the relationship or ongoing obstacles the couple faces.
Family therapy can be helpful when the concern resides within the family itself. That may be rooted in parenting style, a child’s troubling behavior or change in family structure.
